HTTPort bypasses http proxies that block access to the internet on your computer. You can find more information about HTTPort at http://www.htthost.com.
Below you will find step-by-step instructions on how to install and configure the software so you can use WMKeeper on your computer.
- Install and start HTTPort.
- In the Proxy tab configure the server settings:
- Host name or IP address - name or address of your proxy server;
- Port: - proxy server port;
The other settings depend on your proxy server. If you are unsure which settings to enter, please leave the defaults. Example below.
- Add a new account in the Port mapping tab with the following settings:
- name - WebMoney;
- Local port- 2802;
- Remote host - wmsc.webmoney.ru;
- Remote port - 2802.

- Switch to the Proxy tab and click "Start".
- In the System tab make sure there are no errors in the «Errors (quote this when bug reporting)» field. If there is an error, read the FAQ page on the developer’s site. It provides solutions to the most common errors. You can find the page in the About tab.
- Make changes to the "hosts" file. It is located in System32/drivers/etc folder in Windows NT/2000 and in the system root folder in Windows9x. In Windows9x there may only be hosts.sam instead of the hosts file. In this case create a hosts file and copy the contents of hosts.sam into it. At the end of the hosts file add a new line: 127.0.0.1 wmsc.webmoney.ru.
- Start WM Keeper Classic. If everything has been configured correctly, it will connect to the verification server. If there is an error, you will find the error message in the «Errors ...» section of the «System» tab.
