WM Keeper CLASSIC creates the following file after WM registration:
.kwm — file with your secret keys. Size — 164 bytes. The file and the access code identify you as a WebMoney user. We recommend saving it to a removable storage device (floppy disk, flash memory card or CD). You no longer need it to start the latest versions of WM Keeper, however, you should be prepared the software may ask for it at any time.
.pwm — file with your purses. Size - anywhere between 1 – 50 Kbytes. Contains transaction history of your purses and WM mail correspondence. It is not mandatory to have the file on your PC to run WM Keeper Classic. If you don't have it, the program can create a new one when you start it.
.pwm.safe — a copy of your file with purses.
.init — a temporary keys file bundled with the configuration of your PC. Size 312 bytes. It is not critical if you lose it. If you have the.kwm file (secret keys file), this file automatically restored.
.groups — file that contains information about your user groups. If you lose this file, you can still access your purses.
Thus, 5 new files are created, however, there is only one critical file with your secret keys (.kwm, Size-164 bytes).
