When transferring money, you can protect your transaction with a code or limit the time, during which the funds are available. Basically it is a password that is necessary to receive the transfer or protection period.
To carry out such a transfer, select the appropriate option in the Send WM window, create a protection code and type it in along with the protection period (you can also set WM Keeper to automatically generate the protection code).
When you make a code-protected transaction, the recipient will see the transferred amount but will not be able to gain access until the protection code is entered. If the code is not entered within the time-limit set by you (protection period), the money will return to your purse.
You can use this option in different ways. For example, when you buy goods and make a code-protected payment, you can wait for the goods to be delivered before you give the seller the protection code (to complete a prearranged discussion, etc).
A number of exchangers use this option and require their clients to make code-protected transfers. When the transfer sender arrives at the office and reveals the correct code, it confirms their identity.
NB: Beware! We never have clients enter their protection code twice on our website or anywhere else.
